Privacy Policy

Multichat AI is built to collect as little as possible. We don't require an account, email or name, we don't show ads and we don't sell or share your data for advertising or tracking.

What we process

• Anonymous identifier. A random ID created on your device and stored in the iOS Keychain, used to keep your plan, credits and limits.
• Prompts, chat messages and images you upload. Sent to our server and then to Pollinations.ai and the AI model provider you choose (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, ByteDance, ElevenLabs) only to generate your response. We do not keep chat message contents on our servers; your chat history is stored only on your device.
• Generated media and uploaded reference images are stored by Pollinations at unlisted public URLs (anyone with the exact link can open them) and expire after about 30 days. Save anything you want to keep to your device.
• Usage records: model used, feature, credits charged, timestamps and the prompt text of media generations (kept up to 90 days for abuse prevention, safety review and billing support).
• Purchases: subscription status from Apple, processed through RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.
• IP address: used transiently for security and rate limiting.
• Reports you submit about generated content.

Sharing with third-party AI

Before you first use the App we ask for your consent to send your prompts and uploads to the third-party AI services listed above. These providers process data under their own terms and may apply their own safety monitoring. Do not include sensitive personal information in prompts.

What we don't do

• No advertising, no third-party tracking SDKs, no data sales, no cross-app tracking.

Retention and deletion

You can delete everything associated with your anonymous ID at any time in Settings → Delete my data. This deletes your server records immediately and clears data on the device. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately in your Apple ID settings.

To prevent abuse of free trials and subscription credits, two records that contain no personal information or content are kept after deletion: (1) a one-way hash of a random device identifier together with how many free generations that device has used, and (2) the remaining credit balance of an App Store subscription, keyed by that subscription's transaction identifier. We rely on our legitimate interest in preventing fraud for these records.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data and to object to processing. Contact us to exercise them.

Use of the App is governed by Apple's Standard EULA.
